The atmosphere around the Wagah Border is electric! You’ll notice crowds of people, mostly locals, but also tourists from all over the world, gathering in anticipation. The area is divided into two sides — one for Indian spectators and one for Pakistani spectators, each with their own grandstand. People are cheering, waving flags, and chanting patriotic slogans in support of their respective countries. Expect to feel a palpable sense of excitement and enthusiasm.
